It's been a busy month here at the Syntasso HQ! We're about to head out to the beach for a well-earned summer vacation, but before we do, we wanted to share the highlights of our recent content.
Who knows -- some of this could even make for good beach reading/watching...
When backstage met terraform – and platform orchestrators (webinar recap)
In our most recent webinar, we delved into the intriguing convergence of Terraform and Backstage, two pivotal technologies reshaping the landscape of platform engineering.
This session was particularly exciting for us at Syntasso as we had a special guest, Seve Kim, a product manager from Backstage, joining Abby and Daniel!
This webinar also led to the creation of another blog post, "Why Implement "Progressive Disclosure" in your Internal Developer Platform and Portal."
Integrating Promises with Terraform Enterprise
Thousands of teams worldwide use Terraform to provision and manage their infrastructure. It is a powerful tool that enables platform teams to build valuable but also complicated environments and services for their application teams.
The team at Syntasso has recently introduced new features to Kratix that make integrating with the HashiCorp Cloud Platform or Terraform Enterprise an amazing experience. In this blog post, "Integrating Promises with Terraform Enterprise", Derik provides a deep dive into the features and benefits.
Derik was on fire with content creation this month. He also published "I Promise Not to Break Production," which covers how to promote Promises through environments with Kratix, and "Your Backstage Needs a Platform."
How to implement platform engineering at scale
In this LeadDev webinar, Franziska Hinkelmann, Dileep Marway, George Peter Hantzaras, Smruti Patel, and Daniel Bryant shared their experience of "How to implement platform engineering at scale"
Building composable internal developer platforms (IDPs) with Kratix
In this recent kubefirst webinar, Abby and John discussed Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs). Abby also demonstrated how Kratix, an open-source platform framework, can help you build them faster, and John explored how you can easily deploy Kratix on your Kubernetes cluster with the GitOps Catalog.
Adapting three-tier architecture for platform engineering
In this recent episode of DevOps Paradox, Daniel sat down with Darin and Viktor to explore how we can take the three-tier architecture model and apply it to building our platforms and portals.
